Our Team

Laura came to Free Spirit Media as part of the Northwestern Public Interest Program in the summer of 2008. She orignally worked as a Program Associate at FSM's program at the Gary Comer Youth Center where she helped teach journalsm and filmmaking to underserved Chicago youth. Laura currently runs FSM's new video production programs at Power House and Westinghouse High Schools.

Laura graduated from Northwestern University where she studied Film and Political Science. Laura also received a Certificate in Service Learning from the School of Education and Social Policy. She is thrilled to be sharing her love of filmmaking with the youth in Chicago.
