Free Spirit Media Productions

Free Spirit Media sees professional experience as a bridge between our students and the media production industry.

Through this work, FSM’s advanced students gain semi-professional, “real world” experience working as producers, camera operators, and editors for paying clients while being mentored by FSM staff and media mentors. Students work together with FSM’s team to deliver quality documentary and event production services.

Clients have included Nike, Career Builder, Lollapalooza, The Poetry Foundation, St. Sabina’s Beloved Community, The Chicago Park District, and The Chicago Public Schools. Students also worked on the feature-length documentary, Louder than a Bomb.
