Ribbon cutting ceremony at the Gary Comer Youth Center in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood. GCYC is home to the South Shore Drill Team. This was also the groundbreaking of the new Gary Comer College Prep, part of the Noble Street Charter School Network.
