Mike is a Haitian American filmmaker, cinematographer and family archivist with a patterned commitment to both filming and future-proofing cultures and subcultures.

Mike has been recognized as an Oprah Winfrey Leaders Scholars mentor and has received a “Special Mention” at the 2023 Chicago International Film Festival, a Webby, Tribeca X, and a People's Telly Award. In 2020, he was nominated for the Roger Ebert Sundance Institute Fellowship. He works in Chicago as a cinematographer and camera operator.
