Raysam Donkoh-Halm

Raysam believes that laughter and learning go hand in hand and leads programs that encourage teens to tap into their creativity and humor. As an artist, he creates non-fiction films that take a lens to socio-political topics such as local civic engagement and patriarchy to reexamine and challenge the models & values set for us.

His work is fueled by his own experiences as a longtime production student, public media associate, and mentor to many and a passion for passing on the tradition of fun, ethically made filmmaking. His practice and experience informs his role as a teaching artist at Rayviation, where he is the founder and full time freelancer. Previously, Raysam served as Senior Video Producer & Editor at UKG, where he focused on being a key contributing teammate for the in-house Creative & Brand team under Marketing.

Raysam envisions a world where we can live as free as the characters we write in great stories.
