Tye Moores

Tye Moores’ current role is a Teaching Artist at Free Spirit, where she is responsible for leading programs in media arts, photography and portfolio development for Teen Programs. In this position, she works to provide a space for students to create their own fine art photography projects and guide them through their production process.

Before this, Tye served as Annual Fund & Marketing Manager at Embarc. She focused on communal fundraising, individual giving, and marketing plans to provide experiential learning to high school students on Chicago’s west and south sides.

Tye’s work is driven by her experience as a lifelong learner and a passion for providing representation and safe spaces for young people of color. Tye envisions a world where quality education is treated as right and not a privilege.
